Jake Lapp joined ITA in 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Jake grew up on a farm in northeast Colorado and later attended college at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he graduated in 2006 with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Management and in 2008 was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Professionally, Jake has worked with different ministries since graduating in 2006. This includes time with a national CPA firm that specialized in working with Christian organizations throughout the United States. Jake also spent 7 years with The Wesleyan Church denomination as both the Controller and Chief Information Officer. During his time at the Church he joined ITA as the CFO.
In 2019 Jake transitioned to the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) where he currently serves as Compliance Team Lead. While working at ECFA he has the opportunity to fulfill God’s calling on his life and support the many members of ECFA as they strive to enhance accountability in their organizations.
Personally, Jake married Diane in July 2005. The Lapps have two young boys, Sam and Josh. During their free time they love to spend time outdoors hiking, biking, and playing sports.
Jake is driven by his desire to use the skills God has given him to serve ministries and help fulfill the Great Commission.
